We will require individual accountability, expect all employees to adhere to our safety standards, and actively participate in and support the advancement of our health and safety practices. Safety is the responsibility of all employees, including both top management and the individual craft worker.

Our approach is geared toward providing the following services:

  • Full time project safety and environmental management
  • Our safety professionals continually assess the workplace for potential hazards which impact employee safety and take immediate corrective actions steps to resolve any conditions, all corrective actions are reviewed as well with the employee based to ensure heighten awareness and non-reoccurrences
  • Work with clients to develop site-specific plans for continuous improvement of safety processes

Critical Safety Values

The UPI Critical Safety Values sets out simple and clear “dos” and “don’ts” covering activities with potential safety risk within our organization. These rules were created by UPI Employees and have been put in place to ensure consistent behaviors are followed to prevent the kind of incidents that could result in a serious injury or a fatality. Implementation of these rules is part of UPI’s commitment for continuous improvement in Safety and has a tangible contribution to strengthening our safety culture. The commitment of the Critical Safety Values affirms UPI’s commitment to a strong safety culture.

Quality Management System

UPI has developed and refined our Quality Management System consisting of robust procedures, processes and standards for management and control of engineering, design, procurement, construction management and commissioning of onshore, offshore and power assets worldwide.
